This place is the BEST! If I could give more then 5 stars I would! The pot roast sandwich is amazing!!!!!!! I would love to try everything on the menu but each time I go I cant imagine not having to pot roast lol best sandwiches in Lexington!

Outstanding homemade cheese spreads that you can sample before ordering. First timers can skip the line and walk up to a side counter to the little sample area where they give you different samples with crackers. The food was excellent and the people were really nice. They went the extra mile to make sure my 3 and 1 year olds had something good too which was nice. I would go to this place all of the time if I lived in Lexington.

A real hole in the wall restaurant. If you're from out of town you might not know about this hidden treasure. BEST sandwiches in town. It's a local's go-to place for lunch. This location is my absolute favorite! Walking in feels like a blast from the past with a seamstress and barber across the way. There's not a single thing on the menu that won't leave you tempted to get another. Each weekday they also have a special sandwich that will make you want to cancel all your lunch plans. Also every sandwich comes with Dad's very own cheese spread on top. If you just can't get enough of it, you can even just buy a tub! "Dad" himself is often at the shop and really gives it that special, love-in-every-bite feeling. Skip the chains and fastfood, you'll thank me later ;)

Amazing first visit. Got there past the rush and received a 'tour' of Dad's cheese spreads from the owner. The daily specials are limited, so get there early or call ahead. Having missed out, I ordered the Swiss and Country Ham melt and was not disappointed. They have a second location at Blue Stallion Brewing, but it's worth the trip to the original on Lane Allen if you can make it..

Amazing!!! Exceptional, warm, hometown service. They treat you like family (in a good way lol) amazing food! Great Cafe! One of Lexingtons best kept secrets. Try this place soon, you'll be glad you did!!
