Great food, decently priced. Really fun and interesting menu. Loved the atmosphere. The back patio was super fun too.
So good! We definitely enjoy and will return. They were out of some items but we attended late in the day on Derby Day.
Fabulous food. Inviting atmosphere. My husband and I have been here several times and will keep coming back!
Really great place, I love the owner she's so sweet and does everything she can to make sure you have a wonderful experience. The is amazing, even the stuff that isn't personally my taste, taste good. Best of all its locally grown and always fresh. I love bring my friends and family here.
I wanted to like this place, I really did. I'm a big fan of Robbie Morgan and all of the good she's done in Lexington, especially with the Crave festival. I love the idea of a little neighborhood spot with live music, like a new Orleans cafe or something. I love the decor and the games they have for local neighborhood people to play (or kids, if you're looking to eat in peace).
Now the reason for 3 stars: the food. I ordered jambalaya and it was bland and tasteless. I tossed so much Louisiana hot sauce in there that I might as well have drank from the bottle and saved myself the calories. The food was so bad. I brought some food home to the wife and she didn't finish it. So disappointed. I wish it were better food, but with an established place like bourbon and Toulouse basically around the corner, I can't see what the draw is.
On the upside, my kid got a brownie and it was a religious experience for her. To be fair, it was a pretty damn good brownie.
