    Good food and great views. Went for weekday lunch, not crowded yet. Worth a visit. Get away from urban madness and relax.

    We love stopping here when we're traveling on 75. The location on the river is great. The food is yummy. The staff is nice.

    Typically I don't give bad reviews, because I don't like to bash people. So I would never go silent in telling you how AWESOME Proud Mary BBQ is! Located right on the Kentucky River, under Interstate 75, PMBBQ has an awesome multi-level patio, games, a stage for local artists and such great food. If you are traveling Interstate 75, you have to pull off on Clay's Ferry and follow it down the hill to Proud Mary BBQ.

    This place is awesome!

    Alright so now that that's out of the way, we found this place just driving around aimlessly. Decided we were in the mood for BBQ and stopped for a bite.

    The atmosphere is fun and laid-back. It's definitely a place to bring friends from out of town in the weekend. They have a river bar too so if you're boating on the Kentucky river it's a great stop if you're hungry.

    Food was incredible, staff really makes you feel comfortable and VERY attentive. As an awkward spaz myself, it's nice when an employee can be friendly enough to bring me out of my shell so I was immediately comfortable being in a new place.

    They have a bunch of special events going on pretty regularly it seems. I'll definitely be back.

    This place is gives you a great southern feel when caught between the north and south. "Comfortable" describes it best. All the servers seemed impeccable. Ours was Hayden. He was impressive, as was the food. Will definitely recommend this place to anyone asking for major stops in Lexington.
