Rose & Jim's Bar & Grill

This by far my favorite bar in Lexington. It's laid back and quiet through the week. And the weekends are always a blast. They also do corn hole tournaments there which is really cool. I love going out here and it's only 2 bucks for a beer which is really good for bar pricing. I highly recommend this as place to get together with your friends.

Was working in Lexington and saw all the cars outside this place so we checked it out. Definitely a local watering hole and if you're from out of town, they know. BUT if you're a fan of dive bars, like I am, it's awesome. Their outside area looks like an awesome party. Very small inside and the bathroom only had curtains for stall doors so just be prepared for people to open them while you're in there. Parking is limited, karaoke was awesome, pool table and their beer mugs are so frosted they hurt your hand (good thing). If you're a relaxed, low maintenance person, go here.

Food is surprisingly good for this small dive bar. It is not an upscale fancy place but for what it is, it is a good time. Dark and a bit damp with small number of tables but worth a visit. Bartenders were very attentive.

Typical “dove” bar. Food was not incredible but what you would expect at this type of establishment. Enjoyed my time here and the bartenders were excellent.
