(May 14, 2019, 2:52 am)Great comfortable atmosphere. Home style cooking. You get something here that you just can't get from a big chain truck stop like love's or pilot. Not that theres anything wrong with love's or pilot. You'll just get a much more memorable experience here. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND that you stop in here if you traveling through the area.

(May 6, 2019, 10:17 pm)I have mixed feelings about the place. The restaurant seems cute and local. The store seems very poorly maintained. There are missing tiles on the floor, the paneling is many decades old. There is a bucket to hold the water that leaks out of the cooler in the middle of the floor. It seems like it is run by someone who is not willing to put any money back into their business.
But I love the rocking chairs out front. It is what Cracker Barrel tries to emulate but never quite gets right. And the people are all super friendly -

(March 3, 2019, 4:17 pm)Food and breakfast service was excellent. Husband had ribeye steak and it looked great! Parking lot was just as described in other reviews. A moonscape! Plenty of parking available. Bathrooms and restrooms clean but dated.
