El Jalisco Mexican Restaurant

Great local gem. We were visiting from out of state and stopped by for dinner. I got the carnitas, my husband got the burrito California, and our kids got the cheese quasadias. All were delicious. About as authentic as you can get this far north of the border. Our server was attentive even with the busy crowd. And the prices were great. It was also only 3 minutes from the Ark. Highly recommended.

Very good restaurant. Food is very good. Decor is beautiful and looks custom made. But don't let the outside deter you. Looks like an old diner from way back when. But the food is excellent. Reminds me of what I can get in central California.

This place is the best!! Me and my family were visiting from out of town to see the Arc and it was the only place around with great reviews, so we tried it out. This is the first review I’ve ever left of a restaurant, that’s how much I loved it! We ate here two days in a row and if we ever pass through again we will be back. The staff is kind and service is fast. The food is DELICIOUS!!

Great food, generous portions. Bright and colorful decor. Quick, attentive service. Busy and bustling. Close to Ark Encounter.

My husband and I are from Pittsburgh PA, visiting Kentucky. We were referred by the hotel we are staying at, Hampton Inn, very similar to a restaurant in Pittsburgh called Patrons. We both liked our meals.. If you prefer a meal a little spicy, try Jalisco. If you prefer not so spicy try Camarones Cozumel. Come hungry, great portions. Enjoy your visit!
