Pappy's Cookin'

This place is the best place in town. Great Food and GREAT Service. They go above and beyond for their customers and that's exactly what I like. The salad bar is always fresh and looks amazing. If you haven't ate here you absolutely need to. You wont be disappointed!!!

To start. One fine cup of coffee best cup I've had in a while. Super sweet staff. I think connie was our server. She gets 5 stars herself. Big selection on menu. To quote the terminator I'll be back.

Good family style cooking in a relaxed atmosphere. The pulled pork was good and the Mac and cheese with fried cheese on top was delicious. Portions were just right of pork and sides. Service was friendly and they were quick with refills of drinks. Looking forward to going back.

This says my visit was 2 months ago but I was here again Sunday march 3rd. I drove over just for lunch here with my daughter. We ordered from the menu and added the soup and salad. The food we ordered was great as expected. The salad bar was a bit disappointing this time. The boiled eggs weren't a little green but so much the white had begun to change. Most items on the bar didn't seem very fresh. Which was sad because on my first visit it was the freshest I had seen in a long time. It was Sunday and busy so i was surprised by that. But still not the reason for only 3 stars. I think I had 3 waitresses but I'm not for sure. I know Tamara was on our receipt and who came to our table the most and she was great. The other lady which we had the first time we came was awesome as well. She has the very short hair with the tattoo on her neck. Sorry we didn't get her name. But she was great and was working her butt off to make sure everyone was getting taken care of. But the 3rd was another girl I believe either had a lip or nose piercing wasn't so great. In fact she was quite rude in the way she was talking to coworkers in front if the entire restaurant. I almost left because of her. She seemed to be pretty full of herself and at one point was rolling her eyes as an older gentleman checked out and was trying to carry a conversation as if to say "shut up and go on" which really frustrated me. I will return and hopefully this day she was having a bad day because an employee with an attitude like that can absolutely knock business down. Nobody wants to eat somewhere where they feel like a burden.
