Applebee's Grill + Bar

It's a good fairly inexpensive place for a fast sit down meal.

Really enjoyed my time at Applebee's today. Some of my food was delicious some was just ok but the one thing that really stood out is the way we were treated. Much better than last time I was there dining in which was over a year ago. Both the management and our server were awful back then. But our server today was great!

Do you remember when I posted about certain restaurants reheating already cooked entrees?
To answer the question of why the chicken or beef is tough and chewy: I believe that it boils down to profit.
I will wait until either the culinary mindset or the management changes before I return.

However to be fair, the restaurant was clean with a nice layout.
The wait staff were polite and friendly.
The point is, we go to restaurants to "good" to "great" food.

We visit Applebee's at least twice a month. The waitresses are nice and very helpful, but 9 times out of 10 our order isn't right. My husband and I both like our steaks medium rare, and several times they came to us well done. Their baked potatoes are usually cold. The butter won't even melt on them. When we first began going there, the salads were bigger and they gave you more onions and mushrooms on your steak without the extra charge. We have been very disappointed lately.
