Always a fun experience. Chef is making some incredible things and as usual the cocktails are on point!
For this trip we went the night before Oaks, as we had some guests in town. Certainly no one was disappointed leaving very full and happy. The caviar with pork rinds was very unusual but excellent! Great meals, and then I think the only picture I took was of this wonderful dessert.
This place pretended to be better than it really was. We walked in at 11am, just opened, no one else there, and no one waiting. The lady actually asked if I had a reservation as if I really needed one at this time. The place looked nice and the waitress was good. They seated a couple of other people right next to us very close even though the place was pretty empty. The food had good presentation but it wasn’t anything special. I had the pop’s waffle and the molasses butter was way too sweet. Made me feel sick and my daughter felt that way as well. The coffee was way too strong. It seemed to be a wannabe place in an old neighborhood that was going through renovations.
My friends and I wanted to try something new for Sunday brunch. We were not disappointed. The service was impeccable, the food and drinks were amazing, and the restaurant exceeded our every expectation. I highly recommend the pineapple upside muffin and the smoked salmon platter.
Absolutely must try. The service was wonderful. Our server was very attentive and very knowledgeable about the menu. Our water glasses never got empty! The food is delicious and somewhat different than your normal restaurant. We each had something different and all 3 loved it. The brunch menu isn't huge but there is something for everyone. The portion sizes are not huge but very filling. It is a small place so I would recommend reservations. We will definitely be back.
Liked the place.. on the expensive side.. the lamb my daughter ordered was a smidge undercooked.. not quite add red deer add I would hope..I enjoyed the muscles very much.. no complaints.. but price point could be better to encourage better repeat trade.
Knowledgable servers.. obviously well trained on the menu.. had all the answers to my varied questions.
