(April 27, 2019, 4:23 pm)Came highly recommended by hotel staff and I’m so glad I listened! Nestled in a beautiful neighborhood this was a delicious brunch choice! Applewood smoked salmon skillet with seasoned hash browns, asparagus, and smoked Gouda! The pancake was great but paled in comparison to the cranberry walnut bread with cinnamon honey cream cheese ????. The hot chocolate was divine, creamy and not too sweet. Friendly staff! Just wonderful.

(April 20, 2019, 2:41 pm)This was our first time here during our little vacation stay from Chicago. It is very cute, lovely decor, clean, great customer service, inexpensive and delicious food. It is located in a beautiful little town with beautiful houses, lovely landscape, quiet and very cute views

(March 30, 2019, 8:46 pm)I always liked the food at verbena. I try something different every time and have never been disappointed. On this particular visit the we called ahead there apparently was no record of that but the staff handled our group of 11 graciously and our server did a great job!
