Steak 'n Shake

Was there again on a Monday, seems to be the day. Start off the week right, with something you can count on with service you appreciate and a cook that always greats us. The long favored chili mac is under assault. It would seem that someone, local level or corporate had decided to portion out the spaghetti. Which is fine, so as long as it is consistent and of a fair portion for the price: which is why I've been going to steak n shake for 46 years. Long story short; I got what I expected finally and after explaining my concerns to management whom initially seemed put out by my concerns. No introduction, no apology, just fixed it and acknowledged that it shouldn't look like that... when it was served, albeit tasty and of correct portion, it was however plated incorrectly. Which does not affect the taste at all. It's just wrong. I will continue to patronize steak n shake, just not Frankfort location. I expect more from the chain I grew up with in Indianapolis, corporate headquarters location I might add. Maybe that's why I've had issues in KY. Not closely enough scrutinized???????try harder please.

Excellent, The best service hands down. Mr Jeff, the manager was absolutely outstanding and customer service. I will be back!!!! He hugged my great friend whom in remission from Cancer. Made her day. Thank you so much Jeff, need more Managers like him.

We had the best waitress I have had in this restaurant in two years. She was at the table within three minutes. She gave us a few minutes to look over the menu and was checking on two other tables for additional needs. Then came back when we put the menus down and took our orders. She even pointed out some suggestions based on what we ordered. Ten minutes later she was back with our orders. They were crowded that night but not overflowing like usual. When we finished she was back right away asking about desserts. They have good prices so that was not an issue. All in all a good experience with regard to the last couple visits.
