Steak 'n Shake

They were understaffed... But the lone waitress was trying her hardest to make sure everyone was taken care of... We had no where else to be so we decided to wait it out... It took 8 mins to get seated and another 15 to get drinks... Food came pretty fast and was good. The waitress working the whole floor by herself did the best she could and we appreciate her helping everyone even thought the restaurant should've just closed with so little staff...

Food was delicious. Service left something to be desired. The employees closed the drive through without letting anyone in the drive through know. I sat in the drive through for 45 minutes.

They are usually slow at the dice through, which I understand because every burger is made to order. I sat at the window for a good 10 minutes before a very rude employee came a very dismissively told me it the drive through was closed and I would have to come in to order.

When I got inside all but one of the employees had their headphones on staring at their phones. Had to flash someone down to take my order.

We went here because of the fast friendly service and good food. Both were true, the only down side was the air conditioner was turned way down and it was 59 and rainy outside. Made the experience slighty less enjoyable but over all it was good.

Best Steak n Shake I've had in ages! I had a Frisco melt sub chicken for steak patty. Cooked perfectly. The staff also did an excellent job of being attentive & getting OUR food together correctly although they were very busy! Thanks guys!!!

Really amazing! (Well, almost) ???? I rarely give a 5... I usually only do so when the experience perfectly meets or exceeds my preconception of the place. Yes I gave them a 4, but only because the fries where like little toothpicks hard and sharp on both ends, usually there fries are on point, but these should not have been served. ????????
My nephews where the same way.. everything else was met above expectations.
