Great place to get pizza, salads, pizzeria dishes- one of the best in Louisville. I always get the Mama Bearno's pizza with the Deluxe Salad. Bearno's might be a little bit pricier than the average delivery options; but the service, quality and quantity of all their items can't be matched. The Deluxe Salad alone is only $5.00 and is enough to share for a full meal for two people. Also the coupons are a real saver, remember them (because I always seem to forget mine when I order), and there are different options from buying one pizza and getting a second pizza free, to free order of pizza-sized cheese bread when you buy a pizza. (Coupons can be found in mail-circular coupon books, or on the cover of their pizza boxes.)
I love the ambiance of this location, because not only is it in ❤ St. Matthews ❤; but it's also right down the street from an entrance to Seneca/Cherokee Park and right directly across the street is the very unique and historic airport, Bowman Field.
The facility was clean and the wait staff was very friendly. I was there early so it wasn't busy. The TVs were on ESPN stations for you sports fans. The food was okay. I had lasagna and a soft drink. With $2 tip came to $13.56.
My FAV pizza in Louisville, so the Bowman field location is always a stop when in town. Self-described Sicilian style pizza (much thinner crust than the traditional fluffy, sponge base) w/an extensive list of toppings which are plentiful. That said, single-topping hamburger does me just fine. Request party cut/squares. Good food and great service!!!!
Well I really enjoyed the toppings. They are very generous with them and fresh as well. Great service and love the atmosphere. What I didn't like as much was the crust. Too thin and hard to chew and cut. I'm from New England (Federal Hill Providence RI) and the pizza there is outstanding so I am comparing to what I'm used to unfortunately. I love Kentucky and fortune to visit this beautiful state and wonderful people.
The cheesy breadsticks, the pizza and the big family salad was all outstanding! The staff is so friendly! We can definitely consider this a family friendly restaurant.
