Mark's Feed Store

I worked here (Mark's on Dixie) on and off for years and I must say, it's a very clean and wonderful place to eat. The kitchen makes a lot from scratch and has done so, since before that was a popular thing to do. It's a must try in Louisville.

Today was our 1st time at your restaurant . The atmosphere was great and the food was delicious. We had been traveling for 2 days and were really hungry. What made our visit the best was our waitress. I think her name was Angela. Whatever you're paying that lady, it's not enough! She's awesome.

My waitress was nice and polite. The honey wings were great as well as the red potato salad. We also enjoyed the fire roasted corn on the cob and green beans. As for my pulled pork it was dry and seemed like it had been under a warmer for a few hours. My sons brisket was dry as a bone with hard as a rock burnt ends. Everything was great besides the barbecue which is they’re known for. Not going back.

Excellent service and food. We tried the chicken and pork with a few sides. Everything was outstanding and the hot sauce was superb! Will definitely return here! Thanks for a wonderful experience! 5 stars!
