What a nice place to get some tasty BBQ without having to get a reservation. Was in town for the weekend and stopped in for a bite to eat, we were not disappointed with the food. The food was really good, the staff was friendly however you need curtains or shades on the second floor windows to cut out the summer sun and heat. A person shouldn't have to sweat so much while eating out so because of excessive sweating I am giving four stars.

I was pleasantly surprised by the quality and taste. I expected the run of the mill bbq. What I got was flavorful and filling. We got ribs, honey wings, burgers, onion straws, and tried the brisket. Out of all of that there was nothing we didn’t like. The ribs were tough to chew but I like mine sort of like that; I don’t need fall off the bone. The honey wings were a surprise, sweet and a hint of spice. Everything g was good and all of it, for four people, $50! We shall return!

Second time we have visited Mark's when we have visited Louisville. The food is always good. The parking at the Bardstown location can be tricky but they have some great outdoor seating. Their mustard based sauce is good and there isn't anything I wouldn't recommend.

The best ribs in Louisville. Pretty affordable all things considered for a barbecue restaurant in a major u.s. city. Sauces for good as well as the fried pickles. The buttermilk pie is very very sugary, but I still really liked it. Service was fantastic! All in all, I highly recommend going here if you had one choice for a barbecue restaurant in Louisville.

Excellent! We are from out of town and actually the waitress at another restaurant recommended it. I'm really glad she did. It was so good. Portions were generous and the price was great. The staff was very attentive and friendly. I had the 10 bone rib dinner and it was more like twelve. I was going to take a picture of it but forgot because I dove into it so fast. Good beer selection, also. I wish I was staying another night, as I would go back tomorrow.
