Went here for dinner for the first time. Simple, unpretentious place with very good service and great food. I had asaro and chicken, and liked it very much. Even better was a cold tea called zobo, somewhat tart and somewhat sweet. I Google recommend this restaurant and I will be returning soon.

Wonderful African cuisine. Rich in spices if you have a tolerance for hot pepper. Just ask for it.

Funmi's has been the favorite spot for my family since at least 2013. My parents absolutely love it and we all excitedly come here every time I visit. The owners, Funmi and Yomi, are so incredibly friendly and welcoming. The food is truly amazing, unique, and made with love by Funmi. Definitely worth checking it out..and getting hooked.

Although difficult to find (on side street behind planet fitness) it is well worth the minor search.

They have a good menu of excellent plant based food! Ms. Catherine’s Favorite is a kale stew with tofu, with fresh fried plantains accompanied with a flavorful preparation of brown beans in a mild tomato sauce. Very satisfying! However I would have loved trying other vegan options and there are several. I did have chickpea soup. Basic but delicious. If you want lower salt just ask for it.

In fact they will steam the plantains to avoid oil too on request.

Funmi Cafe is an ethnic gem.

Everything I had was delicious and unique. Very filling and very reasonably priced. Loved that they had an entire menu for their vegan options. Would definitely recommend Funmi's to anyone looking to try a new cuisine!
