Napa River Grill

This was an attractive restaurant. The service was very friendly and took great care of us.

We went for the Sunday brunch buffet. They had a wide selection to pick from.

A couple different salads; Caeser, house, (olive, feta, tomato, cucumber salad), chicken salad.

Breakfast staples like; eggs, bacon, sausage, ham, grits, waffles, pancakes, biscuits.

They had salmon and rice, hot brown casserole broccoli casserole, roast and carrots, fried chicken, vegetable quiche, Mac and cheese, and more...

They had an assortment of cut fruit. Pineapple watermelon, grapes, cantaloupe, strawberries.

There was a dessert table with cookies, pecan tarts, apple crisp, carrot cake and bread pudding.

They also have an egg menu included in the price. You could get custom scrambles, omelets, or Benedict with your choice of toppings/ mix- ins.

$2 mimosas, $2 bloody Marys

To be honest I was really thinking it was going to be great. I was perplexed as to why the place was so empty. But the food didn't really taste like much. I had a few splurges on my plate and they ended up being not worth it. Everything seemed flavorless as much as I tried to convince myself I loved it, I didn't.

At $20/ adult and $10/ child, it didn't quite do it for us. Its not great, it's just okay.

My wife and our families were treated like royalty. I greatly appreciate you all making my wife's birthday as special as you did. The food and service has been amazing the last two years. Can't wait to come back next year.

The service was top notch, and the setting was very nice. They lose a star because I had a ribeye that was full of gristle and fat, and didn't have much of a sear. It's possible I just ordered the wrong thing and the rest of their food is excellent. The rest of my dining experience was good enough that I'd be willing to try again.

I attended a dinner lecture with approximately 25 other guests in their private room. The wait staff was excellent at taking orders, refreshing drinks, and bringing entrees, while at the same time not being obtrusive to the lecture. I had the Caesar salad in a parmesan bowl which was fantastic, and the salmon entree. The food was delicious, the restrooms were clean, and everyone was polite. It's been several years since my last visit to Napa River Grill and it is clear their standards remain high. Definitely recommended!

If I could give them 10 stars, I would. The food was absolutely fabulous. Great portions too. The atmosphere was great. The wait staff also great. I will be going back.
It would be a very nice place for a romantic dinner.????
