Ollie's Trolley is Louisville's best hidden secret restaurant. If you don't know it was there you'd pass it up. Locals like me absolutely love it and it does steady business every day it's open. Unlike other fast food places that offer "seasoned fries", Ollie's Trolley delivers! You can actually see the spice's on the ???? and they're perfectly cooked. Not too greasy. Because of the limited space of the restaurant it offers take out only but does have some outdoor seating. The restaurant keeps a simple yet filling menu by offering only one size of ???? and one size of drinks. The signature burger, The Ollie Burger is amazing. Highly recommend it if you get a chance. 3rd and Kentucky is the location. Used to be a chain of these restaurant and this is the last one. Stop by for lunch you won't be disappointed.
Old restaurant in Old Louisville that never gets old. Good food for a better price. The Trolley is renowned by locals. A good lunch destination if you get there early enough. Get a double with cheese and Ollie sauce and a side of their seasoned fries. And don’t forget that it’s cash only.
A great cheap burger just south of Downtown. The fries are great and the burger is thick and satisfying. Get there early though, because a line forms QUICK. Since it's made to order the food is great but the service is only as fast as they can keep everything cooked.
Literally the best burgers in the city, with no small exaggeration. Its a grab n’ go type lunch place. If you’re visiting Lou, make an effort to try and get these, you’re missing out not only on good cheap food, but the history of it too.
Ollies used to be a city wide chain but one day they started closing- this, the last location- was bought from the business owner during closing negotiations by the all female staff. From there they’ve made a superb effort to keep as close to the original business as possible. The only thing that’s really changed about that restaurant is prices due to inflation and who’s currently working there.
I'm normally very critical when it comes to food but I have to give this place 5 stars. The extremely straightforward and simple menu allows for perfect execution. Their spice blend and secret sauce is absolutely brilliant. Also they have the best fries in Louisville.
