The food is always amazing the staff is friendly and welcoming. As well I see the owner almost everytime we go he knows my family and stops by our table to ask how we've been since our last visit

The food is spectacular. I got a vegetarian dish full with fresh and tasty vegetables and fresh lettuce. The waiter was very helpful and drinks never get empty. The flan (picture) was delicious. Strongly recommend.

Quite possibly the best Mexican food I've had in Louisville! Yes! Among the countless others that are much the same, El Caporal has food that will bring me back. The chips were hot, fresh, and crispy, and the Chimichanga dinner with grilled chicken was delicious! My friend with me on this visit was equally impressed!

Waitress was very nice. Vegetable fajitas have real veggies in them, unlike other places. Their chicken soup is really good. Shame that you have to pay extra for more than 1 drink refill and that combination dinners are almost exclusively beef (few chicken choices). Always enjoy going there.
