Affordable buffet with some variety. I look forward to returning. Great options for vegetarians. I know that they have been around for a while, I'm just glad that I was able to get a chance to check them out.."I'll be back!"

If you love Ethiopian food and want to enjoy an excellent buffet at a reasonable price, visit Abyssinia. My wife told me about this place after a referral from one of her friends - we just had lunch here today and thoroughly enjoyed it. I used to work downtown and wasn't aware of this place (which has been open for years) which would have been within walking distance for a good Ethiopian buffet.

Right now it isn't very crowded which over time will change I'm certain, so enjoy it in its 'secret spot' status while you can.

Awesome Ethiopian restaurant. The people are friendly. The buffet is clean and and filling. Just the right number of options. The bread is absolutely awesome along with the lentils, collard greens, beans, and salad

I was so delighted to find an Ethiopian restaurant in Louisville. I didn’t expect it to be so wonderful. They were polite and kind, food was prepared in a timely manner, and I was in heaven once I got back to my hotel room. My vegetarian meal was AMAZING!

If u you like authentic food with a kick of spice..this is where you need to be.. Every since me n my husband first time there i crave it at least once a month lol...i librarian food a lot but this is the best Ethiopian food i ever had..
