Z's Oyster Bar & Steakhouse

Absolutely outstanding! I ordered the sea scallops Oscar style, they were fresh, plump, and delicious. The service i received was amazing. My server, Kalee, seemed to anticipate my every need before I could even ask with a bubbly and professional attitude. Her assistant was a pleasure as well, although I can’t seem to recall his name, just an overall great experience. My husband and I will be returning very soon!

The service of a good waitress and their back up is wonderful here. I would say go for that reason alone. But if you are not ready for the price, make sure to bring that credit card.

This is a fine dining restaurant serving seafood and steak. It feels small when you walk in, which helps give a private and personal feel to the seating but it is not small at all. I was there for a pharmaceutical talk so there were many people in my "party". The room was nice and the atmosphere in the restaurant was comfortable. My table also seemed to be larger than others in the room and we had a late arrival. They told the late arrival her food would be served a bit later than the everyone else's since everyone had already given their order. I don't eat seafood so I got steak, everyone else at my table got crab cakes, which they said was very good. The food arrived promptly and was hot. The late arrival's food came with what seemed like the next batch so she didn't have to wait very long. The food was good and the servers were professional and fast. 4 stars because my steak, although it was cooked to my specifications and was not chewy, required steak sauce (I personally believe if I'm eating at a steakhouse, the steak should be so well seasoned as to not require additions to taste good). The sides, asparagus, and mashed potatoes, were good as well.

This is a great restaurant for a business lunch or dinner. Also a place to take my wife, any time. The food is top notch, and the servers definitely know what they are doing. I did a presentation over lunch last month, and was impressed with the servers ability to work around my work.
