Waffle House

My husband and I don't go out for breakfast frequently, so when we do it's quite a treat. We had a hankering for waffles so off we went. Tod was our server today and he was super friendly and attentive.

I enjoy coffee but I'm a one-cup-a-day type of coffee drinker. Tod made sure I was happy with my coffee three times and even asked if I wanted a coffee to go since I hadn't finished my first cup. I reassured him I was fine but I really admired his efforts to ensure I was properly caffeinated.

Our food came out promptly and was piping hot. Tod had extra butter, apple butter, and strawberry jam ready for us as the food arrived. Considering these three spreads are basically their own food groups, this was much appreciated. We chatted with him a bit while we ate and he was super kind.

Thanks for the tea recommendations and great service, Tod! We're planning on stopping in more frequently after our fantastic experience this morning.

HOWEVER, if you come on a night where lisa with the pink hat that says waffle house on it, she is super condescending to her coworkers and is rude. Good thing she was washing dishes!!!!

Normally they are very pleasant which they were tonight. However, I not only paid for extreme cheese on my double order of eggs. There wasn't any. On top of that, they cooked the steak until it was dead again. I asked for medium rare, and got well done. Didn't realize this until I was home. Called, and no manager on duty until 7am. The eggs are still delicious along with the steak. But, please cook to order. That is why it's done that way.

Amazing customer service and food. I was really blown away with the service at this location. This has to be the best Waffle house in Louisville. Fast and good food, and very friendly staff. Clean store too. Had to leave a review to let everyone know about their hard work.
