Good food and drinks in a small intimate setting. Excellent cocktails that pair well with tasty appetizers and mains (the locally sourced lamb dishes are excellent). Worth the stop if you're in the neighborhood!

I was super impressed with The Fat Lamb. This was the first time any of the members in my party had ate at The Fat Lamb. We found the place on a recommendation list of great restaurants for celebrations.
We ordered the following appetizers caramelized hush puppies, garlic ricotta bread, fried cauliflower and goat cheese dip.
Of what we ordered I tried all but the goat cheese, though I did have some of the pita bread that came with it.
The presentation and taste was excellent. The hush puppies were perfection, the fried cauliflower have a tangy teriyaki flavor to them and the garlic ricotta bread was flavorful with a satisfactory crunch.
The entree I ordered was the double cheese burger with one slight alteration. I asked for the Sriracha powder from the fried chicken entree to be served aside. I took the pickles off after I received my burger because I like the slight hint of pickle without the strong flavor of eating it directly and added some of the Sriracha powered to the top of the burger patty.
The burger easily tops as one the best I've ever had, I can't think of a single thing I would have changed about the burger. It was just the right amount of juiciness without being greasy or soaking the bread. The flavor was fresh and complete and the fries served with it had just the right amount of crunch and were not too salty.

The only thing I could say negative about the restaurant was the price, but that's about par for the course when dealing with restaurants of this tier, and the excellent food definitely makes it feel like you are getting your money's worth.

10/10 I would eat here again.

I ordered the shrimp and grits. Nice sized shrimp but Doc Crows has a far superior tasting Shrimp and Grits. The drink were tasty but low alcohol content. The gnocchi was very creamy and would definitely order this in the future.

What a blast! This is an amazing place in the heart of the Highlands. The ambiance was perfect for a fine dinner out with friends. The staff was pleasant and accommodating while being gracious and attentive to our requests. The cocktails were a course in of themselves, not a single drink was below outstanding. The Mezcal concoction was especially delightful, smokey but light on the senses. The truffle fries were a pleasant comfort food and an all around good starter for the entries to come. The duck was exceptional along with the salmon. The gnocchi with lamb another comfort food stable, warming the soul on an otherwise chilly evening. Overall this was a delightful meal served with care and garnished with smile inducing flavors that warm the heart and soul.
