Yummy Pollo (Peruvian Charcoal Chicken)

Very fresh chicken and sides ! Not greasy or oily what so ever, the cilantro lime rice was great, also got the chick peas which tasted fantastic! They also serve it with a green cilantro & jalapeno sauce and a aioli for dipping, very good . Great variety of sides hot & cold . You can get dark or white meat or a mix of both . Prices are good and for the amount of food they give you its definitely worth the money! Wont be disappointed at all . Service and employees were nice and described all dishes as you went through the line.

Beside the fact that the food is outstanding, they are always glad you can to eat there. Friendly workers that want you to be happy. Quality food with basics like mashed potatoes and some other no so basic and very tasty and healthy. Highly recommend this place.

This place is the perfect food joint. I drive a truck all over the country, and these guys have it all. Great service from some phenomenal people. Incredible food made by someone who clearly has a picture of for what he does. And the price ties it all together perfectly. I'll 100% be sure to make this a stop every time I'm in Louisville.

Peruvian charcoal rotisserie chicken with just the right amount of spices to compliment and not overwhelm. Get the half mix to try both the dark and white meat. The skin is perfection of flavor with some crispy parts, the fat is all but gone into the succulent meat that is infused with flavor itself. Cilantro rice our favorite side, garbanzo beans and mashed potatoes follow close behind. The chicken fried rice was great too if you're not a cilantro fan. Both sauces were wonderful, get more for just ten cents each. The flan was our favorite desert, so creamy! The owner is charming to speak with and truly loves his food. You'll feel like you're a guest in his home instead of a counter service restaurant. Very affordable and super clean (great restroom too). We loved it so much we bought a whole chicken to take back home to Cincinnati, even more amazing all cut up and heated in a skillet with the skin mixed in!

Definitely would go back again. Food was great, price was reasonable, generous portions. Owner was there and very welcoming and eager to answer any questions about the food. Only thing I wish were different were their hours, but it's a small business so I get it - that allows the owner to help control quality. Hence why the ratings are so high. Keep it up!
