Stopped by for breakfast on the way to the airport. Monday morning at 10 AM, so quiet and service was quick and great.
I ended up trying the Lent Special (fried cod with coleslaw and pickles) sandwich. Gotta say it was good, enjoyed the balance of the fried fish with the slight vinegary taste from slaw and pickle
Paired with some coffee and def a great brunch to kick the day off
Everything I tried was fantastic! The Hash Mash with Brisket was delicious- the brisket was melt-in-your-mouth tender & the cheddar melted into the hash browns was amazing when mixed with the mushrooms & onions. I also had a Naked Biscuit with butter & honey, which was quite tasty. These aren't the traditional fluffy Southern buttermilk biscuits of my youth, but they're still darn good!
The service was amazing the manager was friendly and the staff was more than proficient! It was packed however every thing was clean and it was moving at a brisk pace. The only negatives to me was that there weren't Turkey alternatives for the pork bacon and sausage. Also when I asked for grilled chicken I was told it would add 10-15 min to my wait after we had spent so much time in line I didn't want to wait any longer. Besides those two things i was more than satisfied and I will definitely be returning!
I really enjoyed my visit to Biscuit Belly. It is a definitely a change of pace versus the rest of the breakfast establishments in the area. I ordered the fire belly biscuit. It was very good, there was some heat, but it wasn’t overbearing. I really enjoyed the order and sit style that Belly Biscuit has. It is quick and easy. Our food came out in a quick fashion, we were very impressed.
They have come a long way since their opening weekend on Market. Thanks for the changes, they have made a difference.
There were several different orders at our table and all were pretty good. We had The GOAT, Fire in the Belly, a Hot Brown and a Egg White Fold. I would recommend any of them.
There are a few non-biscuit options. After all it is called “Biscuit Belly”. I actually had the Egg White Fold and it was pretty good. I would order it again.
