Borsalino Cafe & Deli

Sebian was great person. She is friendly person and served us well. We ate sweets and it was delicious!

Went to Borsalino for the first time tonight, a Sunday night. It was wonderful! The pictures don't do it justice as it currently looks. It is very cozy and has a full bar set up. The food was very good. The ambiance was great! The wine, was very good. So much so we bought a bottle. (It may have been a little over priced, but we said we didn't want a receipt, so we're not positive of the price.) The owners are from Croatia and and are very welcoming. I so admire people who are bilingual. Louisville's luck, that Germany was restricting immigrants in the early '90's!

Had coffee and baklava this morning with a friend. Quiet enough for a conversation but not too quiet. Lovely place. Would have scored 5 stars if they had opened on time. Hours have been changed on website now.

I really enjoyed this place. It is a community gem that folks interested in trying food from different parts of the world might like to try. It should be supported for this reason alone. It is as if you are stepping inside the Balkans, if only for some pita!

We had a great time drinking Turkish coffee and sipping plum brandy! Sabina was an excellent hostess! Next time we will try some of the cafe food.
