Hill Street Fish Fry

I like that it was Fresh and made to order. The food was bland and had no seasoning what so ever. They just need a bottle of Cajun seasoning and it would make the food better. I actually hand to season my food when I got home. I also didn't like the smell of cigarette smoke I endured while waiting for the food.

Drove by here for years and always wanted to check it out. What an awesome surprise. The food is GREAT ????

You will love the fish that is cooked up for you here by employees who feel like your friends as soon as you walk in the door. It is excellent. There are several options on the menu but my favorite is the 2 piece white cod with cole slaw and fries. A great little neighborhood institution being in business for nearly 25 year's with the same owner. Give this little fish fry a try and you will not be disappointed.

The Hill Street Fish Fry is an Old Louisville favorite and a great lunch spot. The fish, shrimp and oysters are always cooked to order. I've never had a bad experience and I've eaten here alot. Only draw backs are, the restaurant itself is small so seating is limited, the soda cups are small, they charge .35 cents for soda refills and they also charge a surcharge if you use your debit card. Otherwise, a great place for a hot and juicy fish sandwich.

I consider the fish and other seafood here the best of Louisville. The prices are reasonable. The restaurant itself is not very big, there is some seating but most people do carryout. You will enjoy the food at Hill Street Fish Fry. A+++
