Maira Mediterranean Grill

Ordered the Falafel wrap (with spice) To Go - that's a tasty meal to try out. The service was pretty quick, and prices are definitely student friendly. Unlike the usual falafels I've had, these were a little softer, but definitely tasted good. There's Dine In as well, but felt a little too warm inside.

I ordered a small catered meal (22 folks) with Maira, and I was so pleased. Mediterranean/Lebanese is some of my favorite food, and everything was so delicious. The owner worked me me to choose the right amount of food and didn't try to oversell me. He was very thoughtful. Definitely recommended.

The gyro was loaded so full and tasted great. The baklava was the right amount of sweet and flaky. The guys behind the counter were so friendly.

I don't usually write reviews, but this place deserves a quick shout out. I found it via Google search and got my food to go. Since we are on a low carb diet, I ordered the entrees with no rice or pita. They took it upon themselves to fill the to-go containers with extra salad, which was much appreciated. The kabobs were perfectly seasoned and tender. The greek salad had some pickled vegetables and beets, which was surprising, but delicious. Service was pleasant and efficient. I will definitely be back.

We we're visiting Louisville and googled Mediterranean food. What a gem of a place. On University of Louisville campus. The food was absolutely amazing and fresh and the staff was so nice with great service. Oh and great prices. If we're ever back here again we will be back.
