Mark's Feed Store

Mark's is good barbecue overall. The only reason it doesn't get five stars is that the food isn't always consistent, and the menu runs a bit short. They have a pretty decent buffet on Fridays for lunch (I believe the buffet runs on different days by location) and there is always seating available. We also do catering from this location and the prices are fairly reasonable. The bowtie pasta salad is A1.

Never had a bad experience here. All their food is good too. I've been several times since I moved to Louisville and they've more than earned this review.

Great style of BBQ. They use the middle of the cuts so there's no fatty-nastyness but it is still soft and juicy. Very good meats. I was treated really great by the manager Chas and waiter Mike. This is a down-home, barn-style, home-style comfortable feeling place.

I always love Mark's. My kids love Mark's too. It's a great environment for a casual date, family meal, or fun time with friends. A good well balanced restaurant. I got takeout today but the service is always welcoming and amazing whether I sit down or carry out. They have never messed up an order, not even a little bit, when it comes to take out. The portions are generous as is the kindness and hospitality of the staff. Thanks Tiffany and Mike for helping me out today and making sure my order was ready and perfect as usual!

This location was spectacular. The very first time we visited was a particularly difficult day after we recently moved to Louisville. The manager on duty spoke with us personally, it was like we were eating with family. He provided us samples of delicious entrees. Simply great.
