Pollo – a Gourmet Chicken Joint

This is really good chicken. Went straight up tenders with their c.jerk sauce and the crazy mac'n'cheese. I'm going to end up trying everything on their menu at this point.

Great hospitality and delicious food. Bbq sauce is amazing. Very pleased. Very clean restaurant.

Super delicious streetstyle comfort foods. They’re some sauce bosses, the barnyard and guacomole salsas were fantastic and there’s so many to try. The owners are super sweet and down to earth and it was just an overall excellent dining experience

Very good food and great customer service! My husband called and ordered the 2 tacos with shredded chicken, sauce on the side, and the loaded potato twisters with shredded chicken, sauce on the side. When we picked up the order and got home, we found that there was jerk sauce on the tacos and fried chicken on the loaded potato twisters. We called the restaurant and they offered to remake both dishes. When my husband got there, they also offered to refund both dishes. The corrected dishes were very good! The shredded chicken was moist and all the ingredients were good and fresh.

tl;dr ~ EVERYTHING CAN BE MADE WITH VEGAN/GLUTEN-FREE NUGGS!!!

Pollo – a Gourmet Chicken Joint is the owners' second food-truck-turned-storefront, following the success of Six Forks Burger Company. I've only eaten here once so far, but if it's anything like their first shop, you are in for a TREAT with no matter what you order.

I'm full carnivore, but one thing that I really appreciate and that I think sets Pollo apart is that they offer three styles of chicken for you to choose for whatever entree you select -- roasted chicken, fried chicken, and NUGGS -- plant-based, vegan, and gluten-free nuggets. So it'll be nice to have somewhere to go (post-pandemic, obviously!) with my vegetarian friends where they have more than just one corner of the menu to choose from!

Pandemic Precautions: Well-spaced tables, masks required (and available if needed), hand sanitizer, single-use items, frequent cleaning, plexi divider at register, and a temporarily-converted parking area for outside seating.
