3 stars bc the place is beautiful. It stops there. 2 stars beyond. Menu is small. I witnessed a couple walk out after seeing the menu, cringe. We had a group of ten and they ran out of bacon. Rather than letting us know this, expecting bacon bc that’s we ordered they brought us ham, and apologized for being out of bacon. How is a brunch spot out of bacon. Pancakes were meh, they looked pretty, tho. The turkey bacon sandwich was very bland, but also looked pretty. The banana bread however, was good. All in all, meh.
Stopped by for Saturday brunch with a friend. The space is decorated very well, super cute aesthetic! Our server was slower than I would have liked, but he seemed to be the only server working with many tables to tend to. We each got a Watermelon feta Bloody Mary, and split 3 items. The bloodys were sweet, so I ended up adding a little hot sauce and it was perfect! We both loved the Blooming Cabbage more than we expected to, and the quiche plate was perfect for splitting! The flapjacks weren't my favorite, but the strawberry preserves and cream made up for it! I would definitely return, but do hope they have more staffing for a weekend brunch.
We had dinner on 7/22/23 at Rosettes. The food was amazing. The service was perfect and we will return. The rooftop bar has amazing views and great service too!
Found this restaurant through instagram. Made a reservation same day easily on open table for breakfast. Located near Nulu in Downtown, Louisville. Great location with street parking. If you enter from the street, you’ll see the restaurant in front of you as you enter through the doors. Beautiful decor. A mix of modern, natural, and minimalist with pop of color. Tasteful. Service was top notch. Hostesses are very nice and complimented my outfit, which gives the best vibes, ya know! Our server made great recommendations. I enjoyed the Hot Madame, which is a delicious twist to the famous Louisville Hot Brown dish. I loved it! My partner had the traditional breakfast called the Genevieve but there isn’t anything traditional about their house biscuit. IT’S A MUST! We will definitely be coming back for lunch or dinner!
Very creative French inspired restaurant in Hotel Genevieve.
