Shack in the Back BBQ

Lordy B and good gracious, some of the best damn BBQ I've had in my life. If you leave hungry, then its you're own fault cause the food is addictively amazing and the portion size is substantial.

Turkey ribs are really good. Best ribs I had so far. However the 12 piece chicken wing dinner, I was a little upset to see how small the wings were. Still hungry after that. But all the side are fantastic. I will be eating here again.

Love the turkey ribs here. They aren't as moist as baby back ribs, but are delicious, especially when dipped in their white lightning sauce. The turkey rib dinner is more than enough for one person and could probably be split between 2 people for about $12. My daughter loved the Mac and cheese so we fed myself, my wife, and 3 of my kids with there turkey rib dinner (2 sides of Mac & cheese) and there turkey ribs appetizer (5 ribs only). The ribs app is about $11 so family of 5 for about $25.

I was looking for a new place to take my boyfriend for ribs per his birthday request. I narrowed it down to Shack in the Back and another place. Even though Shack in the Back was further away, I loved that it actually listed which menu items are gluten free (I have Celiac). The reviews about the turkey ribs intrigued me too because I had never heard of turkey ribs. THEY WERE AMAZING!! My boyfriend absolutely loved the ribs and both kids said how delicious everything was too. I enjoyed my baked beans and skillet-fried corn. We will definitely be going back!

This place is amazing. I got the #3 sampler and everything was delicious. It came with 2 adequately sized smoked turkey ribs, (yes I said turkey ribs) 3 pretty small chicken wings, 2 decently sized sandwiches, (you can pick between pulled pork, chicken or brisket and all were awesome) and two sides. I went with the Mac and cheese and smoked baked beans. Both were delicious. They also have Big Red on tap which in itself is an automatic thumbs up. ???? My single complaint is that the chicken wings were super small, so other than that, awesome. Price was only 14.49 so it was definitely worth it. Staff was super friendly and I will definitely be back. Good job Shack!
