Shoney's Louisville

A quick and friendly place to stop and grab some breakfast. They have a large breakfast buffet that even has fried baloney on it. As with all buffets, the freshness of the food is hit or miss and the heat lamps are working overtime .

The breakfast buffet is amazing! There is always yummy soft french toast sticks and tons of bacon. They refill everything quickly. I think it's only like 10 dollars a person too. So that is pretty awesome. Always ask for the veteran or student discount. Theres a sign for it on the register. They always say they do not do it anymore but will still take two dollars off of your bill since the sign is there. They have never asked for my i.d. to verify it, but you might want to have yours just in case. Best buffet in town.

Shoney's was good (which was the opposite of what I was told) I loved their potatoes and I added cheese sauce to them they were great. I had the scrambled eggs they were cooked pretty good nice and fluffy. The bacon was nice and crispy. The sausage links could have used some flavor, but their french toast sticks and hot syrup was the highlight of the meal. The french toast sticks was cooked to perfection definitely a reason to come back again
