Nothing too special, nothing too bad either. Rooms are small (full not queen beds) and the property is old but renovated. The neighborhood is somewhat run down and there is an abandoned minivan in the parking lot, it's been there so long that the brush has started to grow through the van's tires and around the backside of it. But the property is walking distance (5 minute casual stroll) to the Expo Center. Staff is hit or miss, some a super nice while others are on their phones, talking via Bluetooth, and overall miserable to be at work. One housekeeper walked in on us changing and getting ready for the day, she gave a tap on the door as she opened it (zero wait time) and shouted "Oh Shit" when she noticed us in the room. On our 3rd day housekeeping made 1 of the 2 beds and left 3 towels and washcloths on the dresser in front of the tv, not in the bathroom on the towel racks. She removed the dirty towels from the bathroom so I am not sure why the towels were left on the dresser. Toilet paper was never restocked and we had to go to the front desk twice for resupply. A day shift staffer brought her son to work the last two days we were there, he was probably in his early teens and was on the complimentary guest computer all day in the lobby, as went came and went from the hotel he became a permanent fixture. One day a guest waited at the desk for assistance with no staff insight, the young man asked did he need help and offered to go get someone to help him , I assume his mother shouted down from the 2nd floor "give me a minute to finish what I'm doing and I'll come downstairs". Nice enough kid but not professional to have your child at work, especially in a public area. . . . It wasn't the worst experience or room ever but there is definitely room for improvement.

The rooms were clean and well designed. Fair priced and close to many attractions. The continental breakfast is good if you can get any. It lasts til 9am (their time which is 8am our time) and an hour before it's over the food was mostly gone both mornings we were there.

The young.lady at the front desk. Her name is Nikki. Was so polite and kind took time out of her day to answer all my questions and explain them thoroughly.

I always stay here. I've stayed in other hotels in the city but I like the room setup and I'm very picky about being able to control my A/C specifically. The staff here is nice, they respect your privacy. I've never had issues with other hotel goers but it can be slightly pricy or full depending on events going on at the expo or just in town. They have a gym and free breakfast before 9 or 10 I believe. I've only had 2 issues which were quickly fixed by staff and left me happy.
