Super clean bathrooms, plenty of gas cues, and wait until you get inside!
There's a bakery for fresh donuts, a grill for dogs and sausages, a vast selection of beverages hot and cold, every topping you could want; wether they're for coffee, ice cream, or your hot bun wrapped meat logs. But wait... there's more. THE STAFF!!!!!!!
Can't reach to the top of the drink cooler, can't find (well not this one because everything is so intuitively located) something, hands full of yummy goodies and need help carrying? Just ask one of the staff for assistance. Though you probably won't have to. They are so helpful and eager to assist that they'll notice your trial and offer to help before you ask. I like to drink half coffee and half got chocolate, sadly the hot chocolate just ran out. I told the sweet cashier and within seconds (not minutes, but seconds), the store manager was ALL OVER IT. Bada bing, bada bang, bada BOOM; done - and - done.
NEVER, and I mean that, never have I been to such a clean, well stocked, and superbly staffed gas station.
One last thing before I close. Morning commute and you want a coffee. Maybe you dread the long cues. Come to this gas station!!!! They have 3, THREE!!!!, self check out terminals. Don't think Wal-Mart, aggravating, self c/o kiosks where it takes forever to get assistance. "Josh - from Drake and Josh" (LOL) will hook you up without delay.

I have never reviewed a gas station before, but I couldn't let this place go without recognizing the store and the staff! Bless you all, Thornton's staff! Wish I lived around here; wish I could bring y'all and your store back to Illinois. Keep it up guys!

The staff are very friendly and the lady who runs the place weekday mornings works her tail off. Great customer service!

Good donuts. Great ice. Heroin addict shooting up in front of store. Why always the first to raise gas prices?
