The Goose Eatery & Hangout

We sat and ate at the bar, because that’s our thing. The bartender, Star, was phenomenal! She was the busiest of all employees and it was clearly evident.

Our food was amazing. What can go wrong with succulent fried chicken, mashed potatoes and broccoli? The fried mozzarella appetizer also didn’t disappoint. Spectacular crunch!

You need to try this place. We will be back, sit at Star’s bar and eat great comfort food.

Food is great, but I’m so disappointed they didn’t continue their family meals when they moved to their new location. I was a loyal customer who went once a week for their family meals (Goose Creek Diner). Hope they bring it back eventually or else I doubt I will be going to the new location sadly.

Edit: so glad to hear that the family meals actually are going to be on the menu. Looking forward to visiting the new place!

Love the atmosphere at The Goose & they have the BEST smokey tomato salad dressing. The burgers, salmon, and fried chicken are some of our favorite menu items. We can’t wait to come back again!!

Found the Goose on Facebook during the renovation and preparation to open in their new location. My wife was very excited after watching the progress of the facility! We enjoyed a sampling of the menu and everything was EXCELLENT! Service, Food, atmosphere and especially the desserts!!!

Have been there twice in the short time they’ve been open! Really clean, fresh look. Love the huge bar.

Many of the same favorites from Goose Creek Diner (their prev location) including the fried green tomatoes w Creek sauce, but some new items I’m looking forward to including 3 types of hot brown.

Great bar selection as well w friendly, attentive service.

Whether for a lunch or evening gathering w friends, will be back soon.
