Agaves grill

Used to love this place as El Potrillo and frequented it almost 4 times a week. Once it closed and reopened as Agaves, i was hesitant about it. But now i have tried it and all i can say is wow! The food, the atmosphere, the whole place is amazing! Everything is so fresh that you can actually taste it. Super clean, the staff is remarkable and the food is even better. Will highly recommend and will most definitely return!

This used to be El Portillo which was my favorite Mexican restaurant. And we came back for the first time since they’ve reopened and let me tell you this place is fantastic ! The inside is completely redone and looks so modern and nice ! And the food! It was delicious. And it was plated so pretty and aesthetically!! I felt like I was eating in a super expensive restaurant! Best Mexican restaurant I’ve been too in Lexington / nicholasville

Best Mexican resturant in town, I’m glad they reopened it.

They are absolutely delicious! I got a variety of the street tacos and my husband ordered the fajita burrito. Both were full of flavor. I appreciate the waiter’s suggestions on the street tacos too!
