Cracker Barrel Old Country Store

Store #651 in Lexington, Kentucky. Our server was Hailey H. She introduced herself as helping out a coworker by getting our drink order. When she returned with our drinks, she said, "JK. I guess I'll be your server."
The best first thing I noticed was that she was left handed. We rock! Second, her personality was amazing. I kept getting irritated with our party of 8's requests. (I also contributed a request.) She had absolutely no indication of being annoyed by us. She returned a number of times to check on us. She had the most sincere well wishes when we left. I hadn't felt so appreciated as a customer in a long time.

Bottom line, Hailey H needs a raise!

I probably won't eat at that particular Cracker Barrel for another few years. (Distance from us). But I know that they will do well with such a wonderful person working for them.

When we got there, some miscommunication was evident between the greeters; they quickly recovered. After seating, we could tell the server was in the weeds. The other servers had each others back. I was thoroughly impressed. It's the little things between 4 and 5 star ratings. Besides the great food and Atmosphere, I rate 5 stars for a reason. Go get your grub on!

The food quality recently at this location is far above the norm. We've eaten here for years. Everything we ordered was great. Chicken Fried Chicken, beef roast, Mama's Family Breakfast, Cole slaw. All above average. Reported new cook staff. It shows.
