The food and drinks are good, and everyone else knows it so it can get really crowded and loud. We would still go back though. The pizza is thinner crust and they have some creative toppings worth trying. (PS - you can get Alto pizza at Braxton next door, too!)
I REALLY wanted to like this place ... will try another pizza again and maybe some of their sandwiches they sounded good, but was not very impressed.
Pizza was pretty greasy and felt very “heavy” for the rest of the night after eating. We got the triple meat, will try another pie next time. Also had the warm goat cheese appetizer, flavor was there but it was essentially a bowl of spruced up marinara with one small dollop of cheese in the center. Not what you expect when you order a “goat cheese” app. Won’t order again thst again.
First visit at Alto was good. The Harvest Salad is huge and has a great medley of healthy flavors. Easily split by two people. My husband ordered the Brisket pizza and I was hesitant but it was tasty. I plan to return soon.
What a fun find! The pizza was so tasty. It had garbanzo beans! The selection of bourbon was extensive. The owner said they would have beer on tap in two weeks. Decor was warm in what was a more than spacious storefront. There was even entertainment for a bit. An Irish Glee club sang and added to the fun environment. Try it!
