The Gruff

Great pizza! Really wanted to try them all but decided on the Philly Cheesesteak, and was not disappointed! Loved watching my pizza being made and cooked as well. Split that and a BLT salad between 2, and it was perfect. Service was really slow, that's why the 4 outta 5, but hey, I'll definitely be back.

Excellent, unique presentation of food, with fresh ingredients, Fried Chicken sandwich w/spicy slaw was as advertised. Friendly helpful staff. Will definitely come back again

Food is good, though I feel a little on the pricey side. I do enjoy their pizzas, but usually on their Monday pizza deal. Overall a good atmosphere.

Stopped here for lunch after a visit to the aquarium. Great little place that also sells beer, wine, spirits, and some of their house-made items from an in-store deli. Service was quick and while we ordered sandwiches and soup, the pizzas coming out also looked great. They even have a small desk area for kids that's full of books and activities. Their parking lot is small, but there is metered street parking nearby.

Exceptional local restaurant that is delightfully odd. Excellent food with a great drink menu. Well worth the visit for the experience alone. Would rate as a must stop for restaurant hopping road trippers. Great location for an after lunch walk on a classic American suspension bridge.
