CASA AMIGOS MEXICAN RESTAURANT

My Husband and I decided to Take our Son and his new soon to be bride to celebrate Jake's exciting life event. The Restaurant itself was bright, clean, the evening we went, they were not too busy not sure what to think, The Woman who greeted us so prompt and Courteous, she sat us with menus and Salsa. Unfortunately to our surprise she was not our waitress but the table close by and a several others. We had a Younger fella, who "served" our table and he was all but serving. He came after we waited for 10 minutes or so to ask our drink preference, we sat there anticipating a wonderful meal and definitely a beverage at least to go with the great tasting Salsa and Chips. He didn't come back for what felt like an eternity while we silently watched the woman who had greeted us serve the people around us. She was on point no one was upset or waiting for her to serve them. So my husband and I started to wonder where our Guy was, he could be heard speaking in Spanish not sure what he was saying but talking and laughing. The woman calls to him that his table was waiting. He comes out seemingly aggrivated, We finally reorder our drinks and food, Which by the way was Delicious for the most part, The cheese sauce was really runny, then he brought out cold chips that tasted stale. He kept saying little snide comments and acting as if he was upset. We finally receive our dinner, we ordered The Special and my son and his fiance got the Carnitas and Fajita Nachos. After bringing our food which wasnt real warm at all, the young man was no where in sight. The female server was prompt and semmingly experienced. We had nothing at all no more drinks or anything. The woman who was serving other tables stopped and asked how we were doing and if we needed anything..well ..refills and she even offered to take our plates, and asked "did y'all save room for dessert?" We were jealous then of how our first impression of The service could have been if we were served by the other server. He comes out from the back area as if she was wrong for helping us. Saying I got my tables don't worry about how I do my job or something close to that. All i can say is We were not impressed by him what so ever. Food was amazing, and toward the end our service was good too because of her. She was funny and made us laugh and smile after such a rough start. Thank you again Miss for being so sweet and attentive to us and the a few other of the young mans customers too. You definitely made it worth coming back to see the difference. Great music too mixed with latin style music, country music, even a few modern songs. Pleasant atmosphere and we will try for a second chance. We want her next time. No offense. ***Note to Management, she is an asset to your business.***

Amazing food feels good to have our name affiliated with this small family style restaurant.. And we love our customers y'all come back and see us soon!!!

Just look at this thing. Mega burrito for only 12 bucks or so definitely worth the money. Fast and friendly service. Would recommend 10/10

Generally pretty good Mexican fare I always figured a Mexican joint would fly at this place which has been the home to several restaurant failures during the past decade. Sometimes it can be a little hit or miss on service and food, but, overall pretty good. Likeable staff and pretty good food. Not fantastic, but, pretty good. Best Mexican in Berea for the money. Better Mexican food in Richmond.
