Gold Star Chili

We're from out of town, were happily surprised at the quality of this restaurant. It is spotlessly clean. The employees are friendly and proud of the food they serve. I was talked into a shake with 'Nilla wafers--delicious! We all agreed the chili is much better than Skyline. Thanks for a great meal!

Ordered chili cheese fries in the drive thru. Got a good amount and was delicious! However they forgot to give us a fork, I had to turn around and go get one. Reason for 4 stars!

This was a really great Gold Star Chili! I’m a local of the original, so I must admit, I was very excited to see how great and fresh everything tastes! Coneys were the best! Definitely be back, and bring my family!!

Luck of the draw or just day shift is better. First visit day shift was great. Night shift closed 30 minutes early upon seeing us arrive and park on 4/29/19. We were just passing through for work from Indiana to TN and after getting our work truck parked they noticed is and turned off the lights and scattered. Great service upon a previous visit during day shift hours though when we were in for lunch.

The place was pretty nice, but the chili does not taste good to me. I had a bacon cheeseburger, and that was good. The people who worked there are nice. The chili just wasn't what I like. If you like their chili, this is a good restaurant to have it in, I just don't like it. Edit:. They asked for feedback on what I didn't like about the chili but it's hard to do on their website with my phone. I just don't like the flavor of the chilli. It has some spice I can't place. Maybe allspice or celery salt or something... I just wasn't a fan of it I'm sorry... The burger was really pretty good though!
