This is really a great place to go for Mexican food! I came back home to visit and this is as good as anything I have had in Louisville (maybe better).
Pros: The food tasted GREAT and the service was VERY fast and friendly. The guac, pico, salsa, and chips were all very fresh! I love that Calhoun has a Mexican restaurant! We need more restaurants here!
Cons: The portions are very small. For the portion size the meal should have been a lot cheaper. I got the quesadilla fajita and it was 10.99 and it was sized like a discounted lunch portion. My husband got the steak and shrimp, $15 for a paper thin steak, well done is the only temp option. Our bill was $40 after tip for two very small meals and a two drinks.
Got a beef taco salad and the meat looked like mush and had a weird taste. But willing to try something that doesnt have beef
Great food, great prices, fast and kind service in a family-friendly atmosphere.
I recommend the chorizo dip, chicken flautas, and the pollorizo (I think that’s what it’s called…it’s grilled chicken with chorizo).
