Doc's BBQ Smokeshack

I would have given 5 stars but a few items of food were barely warm and that's a pet peeve of mine. The taste was there but the temperature of the food was not.

My wife and I went on mother’s day while passing through Brandenburg. Got sat quickly. Pretty good atmosphere and friendly staff. I had the haystack with pork and she had the potato cake with brisket; we also got a side of onion rings and a side of Mac and cheese. Both of our mains were really good; hers was better. The potato cake itself is really good. Onion rings were good, but the Mac and cheese was meh. I really wish more bbq places put some effort into the Mac and cheese. If the Mac and cheese had been on point I would have given 5 stars.

I love BBQ. Haven't been to a lot of BBQ joints, but the free I've been to hereby been particularly noteworthy. Doc's is freaking awesome. Perfect steaks, ribs and brisket. Can't wait to go back

It's great to find a place like this in Brandenburg, there just isn't enough restaurants like this in the area. Great food, drinks and customer service. We'll be returning!

The service was outstanding, our waiter was great. Unfortunately the brisket I got was more like a fatty shredded roast. Not what I typically consider brisket. Maybe it was a bad brisket day but I'll have a hard time giving it another chance. If I return I'll try the pulled pork as 2 other's in my party said it was delicious.
