Buckhorn Lake State Resort Park

I enjoyed the stay except. I really wish they would cut a few trees down so we could see the lake from the rooms. Where our room was the view is probably 70% obstructed by a couple of trees????

Beautiful view. Clean lake. Well kept grounds. But Lodge and rooms need updating. Room was not fully cleaned. Minigolf hasn't been maintained for decades and is pitiful. Service at restaurant was very slow. Continental bfast had sour milk and no one in attendance. Website says there is boating, but only options are $200 pontoon rental or dinky peddle boat. We were disappointed and left a day early from our vacation. We recommend an overnight at most.

I travel 5 days a week around the state for work. If I am anywhere close then I stay here even if it means a little extra drive. Great little gem up here in the mountains

We just finished a fabulous Easter buffet in the dining room at Buckhorn State Resort Park in beautiful eastern Kentucky. The food was outstanding and the service exceptional! Thanks to all the staff and will excited to come back and dine with you soon!

We had to come to a funeral in March and the weather was still bad. We rented a cabin that was absolutely beautiful and the scenery was amazing. I would love to come in the summer when all the amenities are available. If you are looking for a quiet serene place to relax this would be it. The people of Kentucky made an otherwise hard time have some enjoyable memorable moments in this gorgeous setting. Thank you.
