Lake Cumberland State Resort Park

Lots of fun here...... And beauty..... And allll worth the crazily curvy drive down which is my only complaint which honestly isn't nothing but the scenic route the way I see it so like I said totally ???? worth the drive!

Rented a 78’ house boat and had a great adventure. The lake is beautiful and plenty of private coves to tie off in. Great family vacation. You will need some young capable hands to climb the shore line to tie off the boat. No anchors as the water is to deep. The boats are roomy but the cabins for sleeping are small. We have completed 3 separate trips over the years. Always a good time.

Very pretty, easily accessible once you wind the narrow road (about 5 miles) to the marina. Lovely spot for boating and wildlife. So many deer! Quiet and serene. Cottages overlooking lake are charming.

The campground is very quiet considering our site was next to the main road through the campground. The restrooms and bathhouses were conveniently located and clean but not air conditioned. Also there was some trash left by previous campers at several sites. Overall we enjoyed our stay but probably will not be returning. No views of the lake at this campground.

The resort is very nice. The people are friendly and the food is delicious. We had good service. Sit near the window to see the lake. Lake Cumberland State Resort Park is my favorite place. My son and I use to go there for our vacations. We enjoyed the heated indoor pool. We played games and fed the raccoons in the evening.
