Local Feed

The food was really good and quite a bit more expensive than I thought it would. The atmosphere was not set up for children it's more of a chill place for adults. Which isn't good since I have children. The service was suspect at best the only time our waitress even pretended to act like it mattered that we were there was when the check came. The only reason I would eat here again is if I could get the food carried out.

4.5 I love everything about Local Feed except for the noise level inside. The menu is terrific and many specials from which to choose. The small plates are amazing. I love the deviled eggs and beets. If the Hanger Steak is on special, get it! Drink menu is fun too. The gin fizz is my favorite. Homestyle cooking, so don't go if you're on a restrictive fat intake diet.

We wanted to try true Kentucky Fried Chicken so we went to Local Feed. We experienced the BEST fried chicken we've ever had. The grits were outstanding (unlike anything we've ever had). And theit carrot cake was to die for. Service was excellent

Best place I've eaten in Georgetown or Lexington by far. The food was wonderful and the staff was extremely courteous. Can't recommend it enough.

Good food, fun atmosphere.
I ordered the brisket sandwich. The brisket was moist and fell apart easily. My husband ordered chicken and dumplings. It was flavorful.
My son had a kids cheeseburger. It was cooked medium rare without being requested that way (that is how we like it). It came with sweet potato fries. My daughter ordered macaroni and cheese, it was probably the best I've had. There was a hint of a bread crust. Not mushy, and a large serving.
I recommend going here if you're in the area.
