Hometown Pizza - Shelbyville

I Love their pizza. The only reason I am deducting one star is because it is so loud in the restaurant that it is hard to talk to people at your own table.

Good pizza n wings. I'm from outa town but my daughter n her family live nearby. They like it a lot. Place was real busy when I picked up our order.

I am thrilled to give this Restaurant 5 stars! Wish I could give 10! I grew up eating Hometown Pizza, so when they opened one across the street from my neighborhood, I was so excited!
I ordered a pizza for pickup on Saturday night. When I went to pick it up, the pizza was coming out of the oven. I decided to add another pizza to the order, and the manager said that she didn't want the first pizza to get cold and that she would remake it with the other one. First of all it shocked me that she cared about the pizzas being the same temp. I then asked her what she was going to do with the first pizza, and she stated that it would just get thrown away. I asked her if I could have it and she happily handed it to me with a smile.
So not only did I get 3 pizza's for the price of 2, but I also asked for some marinara sauce and she handed me as many as I had requested. Customer service like this will keep customers coming back for more!

We were there with Modern Woodman. We had pizza buffet and drinks. The food was good. The service was a little slack when it came to our drinks and clearing the table. Usually the whole experience is great. There were different servers tonight, so that may be the difference.
