Fish Island Resort

Amazing! A great place for a great price, and the owners are awesome. It was a much needed quiet getaway for my friends and I. We only stayed the night, but the full kitchen, spacious cabin, and fire pit served our needs perfectly. Truly a hidden gem.

We could not have picked a better spot to stay so close to the State parks. We took our first real family getaway here and it could not have been more perfect, would have loved to stay. Tony and Karen were very friendly and knowledgeable. For our family the little cabin was perfect, very affordable, a little home away from home. Would definitely recommend staying here! We look forward to going back to explore the many sites close to the area. It was absolutely beautiful!!!

I can't say enough nice things about them! We were in Cadiz for a weeklong canine Disc competition that was just 1 mile down the road, so these cabins were economical, convenient and so accommodating. The owners are doing a fantastic job on upgrading the facilities and are extremely welcoming.

Lovely little place. Tony and his wife take great care to make this place a wonderful experience. They are currently doing improvements to the property to get ready for the summer season. If you book this place, go direct to their website. More money will go to them and you'll save on the third party fees. Pets are allowed here and the little store on-site is great. In the summer, they have kayak rentals and I think you can rent fishing supplies too.

My husband & I have stayed here at Fish island resort twice and love it. We also like that they except pets. The staff is so friendly & helpful. The resort is also close to Barkley lake marine which is nice for us because we pull our boat down when we come. The cabins here just makes you feel so much at home. Love this place!!!

Me and my friend just stayed at your resort and the both of us thought it was phenomenal as the owner Tony and his wife were both very friendly and gracious and accommodating host. We are so glad that we chose this hidden gem over our original choice ( Lake Barkley Resort) because the room amenities at this hidden gem are very affordable. We are so glad that we had the chance to experience your lovely place and we look forward to staying here every time we visit. Next time we will definitely go kayaking as I was not able to work up Jerry’s nerves to get on the water. Kenny and Jerry.
