First time customer. I had the fried chicken sandwich with fries. Good serving size and decent price. Definately hope to return when visiting the area again. Staff were very nice and friendly.
Honestly the BEST catfish and hush puppies I had during my vacation in KY. Sticky cake and ice cream were amazing as well. Overall restaurant was clean and made me feel at home, the staff was fabulous as well and really made me feel like family.
Do yourself a favor, come on over. You will not be disappointed:)
Love the owners and staff! Always friendly! And the food... excellent!! Try the sticky toffee pudding cake...OMG. To die for!! Cowboy burger and Reuben. Awesome!
This place was awesome! We like to try new places a lot...but this is a new place that will become one of our staples! All four of us loved our meals, the portions were HUGE, the staff was unbelievably friendly, and the desserts were YUMMY. It's sort of out of the way but SO WORTH IT! Don't second guess the drive...you wont be sorry you went!
This place is phenomenal! If you like good ole Southern style cooking, this is your place. Their fried pickles and fried okra were off the charts delicious! Everything on their menu literally made my mouth water. My husband ordered their fish plate, which came with 2 large pieces of fish, perfectly fried to a golden brown, fries which covered the remainder of the dish, and a side dish of baked beans he'd asked for instead of the white beans that usually come with the meal. He thoroughly enjoyed it. I, being allergic to fish, was pleasantly surprised to see that they had a large assortment of non fish options available on the menu. In an effort not to totally derail my strict dietary habits opted to go with their taco salad. It came served on a bed of homemade shells that looked amazing, even though I was able to resist the temptation to eat them. The taco meat was perfectly blended into a delicious sauce that was not at all too spicy. It was topped with shreds of lettuce, diced tomatoes, and shredded cheese. There were 3 cold packets of sour cream and a container of salsa served to the side. The portions of our appetizer and meals were certainly plentiful and neither of us were able to eat everything on our plates. If we had checked this place out sooner during our stay, I certainly would have opted for less cooking. Will definitely go back, the next time we're in the area!
